Sometimes the fire in your love life starts to dim and you need to do something to get is raging again. My suggestions is that you get to a romantic place to remind each other why you fell in love in the first place. I am suggesting a city where you can fall in love all over again and the love will last. My suggestion is the most romantic city in the world, Seville Spain.
This is Seville
Spain’s third most popular city behind Madrid and Barcelona is the most alluring and also holds the title for the most beautiful and romantic. Seville is rich in stunning architecture and is where the Flamenco dance and Bull Fighting was invented. It is also the home of the Tapas Bar.
In addition to these firsts. Seville holds the title of being the hottest city because with an average temperature of over 32 °C, Seville is literally the hottest city in Europe.
The City has a storied history and has had various names in its near 2,000 year existence, finally becoming Seville after the year 712. Throughout its history, it has held a reputation for joy and love.
In terms of romance, the city is blocks and blocks of small winding streets filled with tiny shops and cafes. Lovers can find an endless array of places to lose themselves in the Spanish romantic charm that oozes from the city.
As you walk around the city, and you instantly know that you are in Spain, but that you are not in the hustle and bustle of Madrid or the ultra-modern Barcelona. As you stare out at the beautiful Guadalquivir River, whose banks Seville hugs, you know that this is a special city and the right place to rekindle your romance.
In terms of romantic places to visit in the city, how about the Cathedral of Sait Mary of the See? It is the largest Gothic cathedral in the world. Or the beautiful gardens of the stunning Alcázar Palace. Or visit one of many other city treasures including, the Casa de Pilatos, Torre del Oro, or the fine arts museum called, the Archive of the Indies. Seville is made for walking and you can visit all of these sites on foot or with a short cab ride.
They each contain visual delicacies sure to put one in an amorous mood. But there is so much more to do for lovers in Seville. How about a horse and carriage ride through the city in the evening? The labyrinth of stone streets will pass by flower-decked patios, scenic marketplaces, shops featuring handmade goods, and so many tapas bars. You and your loved one can even watch a sunset from the terrace of a three hundred year old country hotel.
At night the city comes to life with fantastic restaurants and a booming nightlife. Eat late and dance it off and learn flamenco. But if you just want to relax, the best thing is that Seville is the type of place where you can do nothing and still have the time of your life.
